By engaging a tutor introduced by Nextgen Tuition Agency (“the Agency”), the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
The Agency acts solely as a tuition matching service and is not the employer or representative of any tutor.
Where a trial lesson is arranged and either the Client or Tutor decides not to continue:
a) The Client shall pay the full trial lesson fee to the Agency within 24 hours of the successful completion of the trial lesson.
b) The Agency shall retain 50% of the trial lesson fee as service fee.
c) The remaining 50% of the trial lesson fee shall be paid to the Tutor.
A placement is deemed successful upon the successful completion of the second lesson by the Tutor.
Upon a successful placement, the Client shall pay the Agency a Placement Fee calculated as follows:
Placement Fee = 50% × (Agreed Hourly Rate × Agreed Hours Per Lesson × Agreed Lessons Per Week × 4 Weeks)
For the avoidance of doubt, one month shall be deemed to consist of four (4) weeks.
The Placement Fee shall become due within 24 hours upon successful completion of the second lesson.
Payment shall be made directly to the Agency through the payment methods specified by the Agency.
The Agency reserves the right to suspend services and withhold further assistance until all outstanding amounts have been paid.
If the tuition rate, lesson duration or lesson frequency is amended within the first month and confirmed by both Client and Tutor, the Placement Fee shall be recalculated based on the revised arrangement.
Each tutor introduced by the Agency shall constitute a separate assignment.
Where the Client engages multiple tutors introduced by the Agency, a separate Placement Fee shall apply to each tutor.
The Client shall not directly or indirectly engage, continue, refer, introduce or facilitate tuition arrangements with any tutor introduced by the Agency without complying with the applicable Placement Fee requirements.
This obligation shall apply regardless of whether the arrangement is conducted personally or through family members, friends or related parties.
WhatsApp messages, emails, PDFs, electronic confirmations and written communications exchanged with the Agency may be relied upon as evidence of agreements, amendments, confirmations and instructions.
The Agency shall not be liable for:
● Tutor performance;
● Academic results;
● Personal disputes;
● Property damage;
● Personal injury;
● Losses arising from tuition sessions.
The Client consents to the Agency collecting, using and disclosing personal data reasonably required for tutor matching and administrative purposes.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
