By accepting an assignment from Nextgen Tuition Agency (“the Agency”), the Tutor agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
The Tutor warrants that all information provided to the Agency, including qualifications, academic results, teaching experience, personal particulars or any other relevant information, is true, accurate and complete.
An assignment is deemed accepted when the Tutor confirms acceptance through WhatsApp or email.
Where a trial lesson is arranged and either the Client or Tutor decides not to continue:
a) The Client shall pay the full trial lesson fee to the Agency within 24 hours of the successful completion of the trial lesson.
b) The Agency shall retain 50% of the trial lesson fee as service fee.
c) The remaining 50% of the trial lesson fee shall be paid to the Tutor.
A placement is deemed successful upon successful completion of the second lesson.
The Agency's Placement Fee shall be calculated as:
Placement Fee = 50% × (Agreed Hourly Rate × Agreed Hours Per Lesson × Agreed Lessons Per Week × 4 Weeks)
The Tutor acknowledges and agrees to this fee structure.
If lesson rates, duration or frequency are amended within the first month and confirmed by both Client and Tutor, the Placement Fee shall be recalculated based on the revised arrangement.
The Tutor shall:
● Conduct lessons professionally;
● Be punctual;
● Communicate promptly;
● Treat students and Clients respectfully;
● Comply with all applicable laws.
The Tutor shall not directly or indirectly bypass, avoid or circumvent the Agency in relation to any Client introduced by the Agency.
The Tutor shall not:
● Continue lessons privately to avoid Placement Fees;
● Introduce alternative payment arrangements to avoid Placement Fees;
● Use relatives, friends or third parties to avoid Placement Fees.
The Agency may suspend, remove or permanently blacklist any Tutor who:
● Provides false information;
● Engages in misconduct;
● Circumvents the Agency;
● Damages the Agency's reputation;
● Repeatedly withdraws from confirmed assignments without reasonable cause.
Following a successful placement, future tuition fees shall generally be paid directly by the Client to the Tutor after the agreed Placement fees have been paid to the Agency.
WhatsApp messages, emails, PDFs, electronic confirmations and written communications exchanged with the Agency may be relied upon as evidence of agreements, amendments, confirmations and instructions.
The Tutor consents to the Agency collecting, using and disclosing personal data reasonably required for tutor matching and administrative purposes.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
